Richard Mourdock: Pregnancy From Rape Is ‘Something God Intended’
During a debate on Tuesday night, Indiana Republican Senate Candidate Richard Mourdock stated that he believes that pregnancy from rape is something God intended. Jon Stewart once claimed that President Obama was the “luckiest dude on the planet” because as the election gets closer, Mitt Romney gets dumber. Looks like this theory applies to many Republicans as Richard Mourdock now joins Todd Akin on the list of Republicans with controversial views on rape running for office.
Here is Mitt Romney’s endorsement of Richard Mourdock:
I say let them say what they want. Then make sure they hold no office in government. He has an opinion that holds no place in government and he certainly should not dictate how I believe or deals with my body.
Let him be raped then have the baby. That’s his choice.
I am sick of men telling me what God intends.
