This was short and cut off at the beginning. Republican Presidents children were always followed and reported on by the media. Ann was addressing this fact, and basically if it’s good for the goose it’s good for the gander. That’s the old way of putting it, so if this isn’t understood, the Bush daughters were in magazines and newspapers, not at their request, and that was permitted as part of the public’s right to know I suppose and no one was ridiculed or degraded, or even acknowledged that this isn’t proper. This being done in the past does NOT make it right today for either party. Two wrongs do NOT make a right… Getting back at how one was treated doesn’t solve anything.

When we see them, they are with their parents, reading for other children or participating in some kind of charitable event. I teach parenting, and the best way to deal with irritating children is to ignore them until they behave better. I hope the public ignores Ann Coulter until she shuts up or goes away.
