Michigan’s GOP Gov. Snyder Revokes ‘Local Democracy’ For 40% of Black People
Rachel Maddow talks about the State of Michigan and how the state has the authority to come in and take over towns in Michigan if they go broke. The state will then appoint an emergency manager who can then do whatever they want. Maddow points out that when you look at the populations effected by these takeovers, over 40% of the African-American population have already lost their right to vote for local officials in Michigan.
